An ally beside
every employee.
The symbol is a lowercase a built from two figures: an arching arm (the ally) holding a bright nova dot (you), nested into the stem. It is set in the product's own navy and cyan, the colours of the site, the original logo and the sky hero.
“Beside you”
The arm (ally). This is the hook of a double-storey a. One stroke rises from the baseline, arches over and curls down, ending in the slanted Allyova cut: an arm around your shoulder.
The nova (you). The solid dot is the bowl of the a, held against the stem. It stands for the employee, the new joiner, the bright spot.
The hold. The stem curves around the dot with a thin keyline. They are one letter, but two figures that never merge.
The same a, with a ring bowl, opens and closes the wordmark: allyova. Every stroke end shares one family of slanted cuts, the Allyova cut, on the a terminals and feet, the l tops and the y.
From 1024 px down to 16 px
The 32 px and 16 px icons are separate pixel-fitted drawings, not scaled copies. Their stems sit on whole pixels so they stay crisp in a browser tab.
Navy, Cyan, Teal and Sky
Navy is the ink and the primary. Cyan is the nova: the dot, highlights, celebrations and the active-nav bar. It is always a fill, never text on white (1.81:1). Teal carries links and focus. The sky gradient is for marketing only.
Cyan's jobs
Tinted glass, only on floating chrome
Glass is used on sticky header strips with glass-chrome (14px blur), on popovers and menus with glass-overlay (20px), and on toasts and floating bars with glass-floating (24px). The base is opaque; blur is added only where backdrop-filter is supported and is switched off for reduced-transparency or high-contrast. It is never used on cards, tables, the rail or the canvas, and never stacked.
Plus Jakarta Sans + Inter
Plus Jakarta Sans (600–800) sets display text, Inter (400–600) sets the UI with tabular numbers, Noto Sans SC covers Chinese and JetBrains Mono covers the vault. All are SIL OFL Google Fonts.
Dashboard card, light and dark
This shows the brand in a real HR surface. The app header uses the lockup; the primary actions use Pine 700 (or Pine 300 in dark mode); Nova appears only as a small, meaningful highlight.
